The Lieutenant Governor of Galway City is the deputy head of state and government in Galway City, and chief adviser to the Governor. He is elected alongside the Governor every three months.
Role
The Lieutenant Governor serves as the assistant to the Governor, and normally serves as a minister in the Galwegian Executive Council.
