Basilios Administration

The Senate elected Ággelos Basilios Eustace President of the Republic on 14 November 2018.

Diplomacy with Moriel

In November 14, the Senate approved the entry into force of a mutual recognition treaty with the Democratic Republic of Moriel.

Diplomacy with Saldabria

On November 15, the Senate approved the entry into force of a mutual recognition treaty with the Republic of Saldabria.

Academy of Arsenia

On November 17, at the proposal of the Secretary of Education, Culture and Recreation, Darius Proteus Ulises, the Senate approved the Statute of the Academy of Arsenia.

Law 01/2018 on Economy in Arsenia

In Ordinary Session of the Senate of Arsenia on November 19, the Accounting Commission was created and Senator Gaius Albius Scaeva was appointed Director. Law 01/2018 on the Economy of Arsenia was also approved, the proposal having been presented by Senator Gaius Albius Scaeva.

The law established the denarius as the official currency in Arsenia, as well as the possibility of exchanging denarius for gift cards from different stores to support the national currency at a real value.

Law 02/2018 on Sodalitas in Arsenia

In the Ordinary Session of the Senate of Arsenia on November 20 the Law 02/2018 on Sodalites in Arsenia was approved, having been proposed by Senator Gaius Albius Scaeva.

In the Ordinary Session of the Senate of Arsenia Law 03/2018 on Civil Registration was approved, having been presented by Senator Gaius Albius Scaeva.

RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE OF ARSENIA 05/2018

of 6 December 2018

concerning to the appointment of Circe Proxenos Ocealus, Irus Phalanthus Pylaeus Sthenelus and Zosimus Phalinos as judges of the Supreme Court of Justice of Arsenia,

THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARSENIA,

In accordance with article 42 of the Constitution,

Considering the following:

(1) The need to provide Arsenia with judges with a recognised track record in the world of law,

(2) The need to provide the Supreme Court with the staff required for independent, impartial and efficient functioning,

HAS ADOPTED THIS RESOLUTION:

Article 1. The appointment of Circe Proxenos Ocealus, Irus Phalanthus Pylaeus Sthenelus and Zosimus Phalinos as judges of the Supreme Court of Justice of Arsenia,

Article 2. To appoint Circe Proxenos Ocealus as Supreme Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of Arsenia.

Article 3. This Resolution shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.

Diplomacy with Wikonga

RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE OF ARSENIA 06/2018

of 11 December 2018

concerning the approval of the Diplomatic Treaty between the Democratic Republic of Wikonga and the Republic of Arsenia

THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARSENIA,

Having received the proposals to approve the Diplomatic Treaty between the Democratic Republic of Wikonga and the Republic of Arsenia,

Considering the following:

(1) The solvency and trajectory of the Democratic Republic of Wikonga.

(2) The guarantees and legal certainty of Wikonga, as the rule of law,

HAS ADOPTED THIS RESOLUTION:

Article 1.

The Diplomatic Treaty between theDemocratic Republic of Wikonga and the Republic of Arsenia is approved.

Article 2.

The Secretariat of State is authorized to take responsibility and make the necessary modifications to bring the Treaty into force.

Article 3.

This Resolution shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.

RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE OF ARSENIA 07/2018

of 18 December 2018

concerning the signing and ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARSENIA,

In accordance with article 25 of the Constitution,

Considering the following:

(1) The need to establish a credible legal framework for respect for human rights in Arsenia,

(2) The need to protect the fundamental rights of the child throughout Arsenia,

HAS ADOPTED THIS RESOLUTION:

Article 1. Sign and ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Article 2. This Resolution shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.
