The election was held on the 21st of February 2022, determining the third Secretary-General of the League of Hellenistic Micronations. The election was called 18 days before the end of Quintus De Vitaliis' term as SG of the League. This was the third and final election in the League's history.
Background
Following the resignation of Emmanuel I & II and the election of Quintus, the term's length was officially extended to one year. Only two days after entering February 2022, Quintus, SG at the time, announced the election process, before his term ended, in order to have enough time to prepare the delivery of the General Secretariat.
Timeline
The timeline leading to the election was announced on the 3rd of February.
- 3 to 10/2: Announcement of nominations (with an extension until 17/2, if necessary)
- 3 to 19/2: Initiation of the campaign season
- 21/2: Elections
- 22/2: Delivery of the General Secretariat to the new SG, who will choose his Deputy (usually the second candidate in votes, without that being binding)
Campaigns
Thomas Marios I
Thomas Marios I was the first Deputy Secretary-General of the League and temporarily a candidate in the previous elections, before dropping from the race citing personal reasons. He formally announced his candidacy on the 9th of February 2022 AD and 4 days later, his platform.

Alcibiades
Alcibiades is the current Deputy Secretary-General of the League. He announced his candidacy on the 10th of February 2022 AD.

He also vowed to help with all his power and skills in LHM's development, regardless of the results.
Election Results
The elections were held on 21 February 2022 through quiz-maker, a website that ensures the safe conduct of elections, since each voter is given a unique personal code that can only be used once.
The polls closed around 6pm (CET), while the results were announced at 20:18 (CET):
Out of 10 League member-states, only 5 of them (50%) participated in the election. 3 voted for Alcibiades I and 1 for Thomas Marios I, while only 1 blank vote turned up.
Alcibiades became the 4th and final Secretary-General of the League and as first order of business, he appointed Thomas Marios I, his contestant, as Deputy Secretary-General.
