Setara, formally the Kingdom of Setara or The Alligned Kingdom of Setara, its Protectorates, Domions, and Colonies across the Lord's earth is a sovereign state with limited recognition otherwise known as a micronation. Founded in Southern California, Setara declared independence from America in 2022, containing 2 non-contiguous pieces of land. Setara is a micronation that is similar to the United Kingdom in the sense that its Monarch is merely a figurehead, while real power lies in that of the Chancellory.

History and Founding

January 2022 to June 10th

This era of Setaran history is known as the foundation era and is when Setara began, Setara at this state was a province of the Mogunesian Empire and had two representatives in the Council, Daniel C., and Wyn A. Setaran representatives only passed one bill in council. Jean Jeannienne acted as governor of Setara. Daniel C. attempted a revolt and took control of Setara for 14 days from January 10 - January 24. The Mogunesian Army of 5 took the land while Daniel was on vacation and seized the land. Eventually, after weeks of Stagnation, Shahan I, leader of the Mogunesian empire would be provoked by Jean Jeannienne, who allegedly was convinced to revolt by a possible supporter of Daniel. And this would lead to 2 Militiamen waving the flag of the province of Setara storming the outskirts of Nesia City. Shahan arrived within 3 hours with 7 of his friends and militia, Jean Jeannienne arrived as well with 8 additional soldiers to aid the two militiamen Jean and his men had superior technology wielding NERF guns and water balloons, as Shahan's men only had sticks and slingshots. Jean sacked Nesia City and the Mogunesian Empire fell. Various warlord states emerged, one known as the Football Club, which claimed to be a micronation but this claim was refuted by Jean who stated they were 'not adequate.' After the end of the school year, Setara temporarily ceased to exist, but it was founded as a Discord micronation on June 10.

Foreign Relations

Setara is a member state and a part of the NOFN Security Council, Setara also is a judicial member in the NOFN's Court. Setara is firmly anti Tizian and Anti-McKeenist Setara has numerously stated its disapproval of both Almendria and Zeprana, In July 2022, Jean Jeannienne had an argument with Charles I, Emperor of Ela'r'oech and ceased to recognize Empire of Ela'r'oech. Setara is located next to Gapla and politicians have professed their interest in diplomatic relations with Gapla.

Provinces

In Setara, a province with a population of 5 or higher gets 1/2 seats, one with 10 or higher, 2/3 seats, one with 20 or higher 4/5 seats in congress. Setaran military districts have a "Representative" who does not go in congress, instead is usually a de facto military governor.

Since Setara is a nation cornered politically by Bayou Tizian and Terry McKeen, the defense force consists of Retaliation Teams, and Server Bots. Setara does not possess sound weapons or nuke bots. Setaras physical land is surveyed by Drones

Demographics

A majority of Setarans are white, with other groups including Latinos and African Americans. Setaran residents are from the Indian Subcontinent, and some are white as well. Setara is home to around 8 residents, 4 of which are Goldfish, who by an executive law are deemed residents. 100% of Setarans that are human understand and can speak and write English, and Literacy rates are at 100% among Setaran citizens.

Culture Setara is home to a lot of Exiled Zepranan Sector refugees and anti-McKeenist writers and thinkers, a lot of Setarans think that McKeen must go down, but some think that Terry should be ignored. Setaran film comprises the Setaran Live News Network, a News Company that provides services like music, radio, news and historical documentaries. Many Setarans watch SLN. Many Setarans approve of the president, his approval ratings as of August 2022 are 91.2 per cent based on an SLN-sponsored poll.

Religion 90% Percent of Setarans are Christian, with some Hindu and Buddhist minorities. Religion Law 10a was passed in March guaranteeing religious freedoms for every resident in Setara and citizens. Much like the First Amendment in the United States.
