Foundation

The Mogunesian Empire, known prior to the Treaty of The Garden as the Mogunesian Society, was founded by a group who idolized the video game character Among Us, this quickly evolved from a small joke to a micronation. The Mogunesian Empire's diplomatic stance was solidified after the treaty with the Stickandria Association, the only other micronation in the area. The Empire was ruled at first briefly by Guy I, and not much is known about him other than a mud stele in his name.

Shahan II

It is also known that after the abdication of Guy I, Shahan Jeannienne, cousin of Jean Jeannienne came to the throne, beginning a "Golden Age" of Mogunesian History. Under his rule, the Empire greatly expanded in Territory, and because Shahan was a strong militarist, he focused on that, fortifying local parks, putting down revolts and raising armies. He was also notorious for being a very authoritarian person, and after a dispute with his nobility, he exiled half of his nobles, causing the golden age to decline as nobles began to plot. Among these nobles, a leading figure, Jean Jeannienne would emerge, at the time he was the Marquiss (Marksein) of Setara, a minor province. Setara was represented by two people, who were extremely inactive. During this time they made an expedition to the Settlers land.

Civil War

Jean would launch operation "Mongol", the etymology for this was not known. The operation was a failure, and alerted Shahan, who deposed Jean. Jean and 5 other nobles fled to Setara and occupied the region, Jean would sack the capital Nesia City and declare himself "Emperor".

Etymology

Mogunesia comes from Mogus, but after the abandoning of the neo-pagan government, the widely accepted name was changed to Mogunesia.

Culture

The Mogunesian Empire had a rich culture and was known for it in the region. Its largest import was sticks, as good quality ones were a rarity in the area. The Empire under Shahan II was extremely wealthy, at times possessing nearly a thousand USD from stick, mud bricks, and lavender export. These exports were controlled by the government through three agencies the Lavrinstekomesienne for Lavender, the Sikonifieroi-komesienne for Mud Bricks, and the Tekommisienne for sticks. It is around 2018 that the Kronika was written by Pierre Monberry, a minor noble. Pierre documented everything from the foundation, royal symbols to the dissolution. Pierre was also exiled for "glorifying" Jean in a page of the chronicle, Pierre fled along with Jean but the page was burned.

Post-Mogunesian Culture

After the sack of Nesia city, Jeannienne's soldiers took several Mogunesian documents without his permission and burned them, there is only 1 government record left. The Mogunesian Empire's culture declined long before the sack, Shahan's power over his nobles declined as they thought he was being too serious, leading to him removing them, and the civil war.

Government

The Mogunesian Government was a theoretical feudal absolute monarchy, various people ruled over smaller vassals and fiefdoms.

Recognition

Aside from the Stickandrian Association, there is no one who recognized the Mogunesian Empire.
