The Royal Family
The Royal Family is comprised of the monarch's close relations. Each family member is issued a title, known as a Title of Nobility (Peerage). The Royal Family is tasked with carrying out official engagements around the country and around the world. They also carry the duty of representing the monarch to the world.
Titles of Nobility
Members of the Royal Family are entitled to the style of His/Her Royal Highness (HRH) or His/Her Majesty (HM). However, the title of His/Her Royal Majesty (HRM) is reserved for the Monarch and His/Her spouse. Titles of Nobility are issued by the command of His Royal Majesty. The only way to receive a title is to be born into the Royal Family, or to marry into it.
Note: Not yet established.
Letters Patent (always in the plural and always capitalized) is a type of legal instrument in the form of a published written order issued by the Monarch granting an title to a person.
Line of Succession
Succession is determined by descent. Since King Matthew I has no children (yet), his sister has become the heir presumptive.

Throughout the year, members of the Royal Family carry out a variety of official engagements, throughout the country and around the world. In doing so, they are representing the monarch. The Royal Family also supports several non-profit organizations, charities, and foundations. Another important duty is supporting the monarchy as a whole.
An Investiture is a very special day when someone receives an honor in person from the monarch. It usually occurs twice a year. Once in April, and once in October. The purpose of this ceremony is to recognize those who have performed outstanding achievements, bravery and services to the kingdom. Whether someone gets an honor - and the honor they receive - is at the discretion of the monarch.
Royal Warrants of Appointment
A Royal Warrant of Appointment is a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to The Royal Family, particularly the monarch. The grant of a Royal Warrant gives a Warrant Holder nothing more than a right to display the Royal Arms and they are not entitled to claim or imply any exclusivity of supply. A Warrant may be revoked at any time for any reason.
The Ministry of Liahonia
The Ministry of Liahonia is an advisory body made up of the heads of various departments, and part of the executive branch. On a weekly basis, they advise the monarch on any subject he may require relating to each member’s respective office. The body is overseen by the Prime Minister, and appointments are by the monarch.

The House of Parliament
|This Parliament is currently on recess while the legislative system is being restructured. This Parliament will reconvene after the changes have been made.|
Further details regarding this restructuring has not yet been released to the general public.
The old system is as follows: The House of Parliament is comprised of 24 seats, and its members are elected by the public. Elections are held every 2 years, and those who are elected hold the title of Peer during their term in office. There is also no limit to the number of terms a member can serve. The Speaker of the House is the head of the parliament. They are the only member of parliament that aren't elected, rather they are appointed by the Prime Minister. When appointed, they are given the title of Mister/Madam Speaker. The sole purpose of the parliament is to enact laws. Any member can draft a bill for debate in the general body. When a bill has been approved by the Speaker of the House, it goes to the monarch. If vetoed, it can be sent back to the chamber for revision. Parliament is divided into sessions, which has a duration of two years. To mark the beginning of each session, The monarch formally gives a speech, which is known as The State Opening of Parliament. It takes place inside the chamber, with the monarch sitting on The Thrones of the House. The speech outlines the plans for that session.
The Judiciary is the judicial body. It is comprised of 6 judges, and its members are elected by the public. Elections are held every 2 years, and there is no limit to the number of terms a judge can serve. The Chief Judge is the head of the judicial body. They are the only member that isn't elected, rather they are appointed by the Prime Minister. When appointed, they shall be addressed as His/Her High Honor. The sole purpose of the judicial body is to interpret laws. When a person commits a major crime, they are taken to court, where a judge is assigned to their case. Based on the evidence, the person will be sentenced according to the Sentencing Guidelines. Crimes are classified by class. Class 1 crimes are usually severe crimes, such as murder. Class 2 crimes are usually minor crimes, such as trespassing. Class 3 crimes are usually traffic crimes, such as speeding.
Mission Statement: To lead foreign policy through diplomacy, advocacy, and service by protecting the interests of the people, the country, and it's identity.
