Sean Douangaphaivong
The Rt Hon. Sean Douangaphaivong (born 11 December 2001) is an American micronationalist, who served as the Minister of Foreign Relations for the Kingdom of Liahonia until 1 June 2021. He is now serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Mexico City Southeast Mission, and will resume his duties as Minister of Foreign Relations by 16 May 2023.
Early life
Sean Douangaphaivong was born on 11 December 2001 in San Diego, California, as the oldest of four children. He spent most of his childhood living in various parts of the United States - including Virginia, Minnesota, Tennessee, and central California - until his family moved to Washington State around 2015. His family then decided to finally put down roots, and has lived in the Seattle area since.
Micronational career
Douangaphaivong was uninvolved with all micronational politics until December 2018, when his cousin, Matthew I, established the Republic of Ut Pace. He continued to remain aloof from affiliating with micronations until 22 January 2020, when he applied for citizenship and a position within the Ministry of Liahonia.
