HMS Emperor was a cruiser, and the flagship of the Sprinske Empire’s navy, the Imperio Dasяúhydro De Sprinskè, from her completion in November 2020 until she sank during the Sprinske Civil War. The ship had three sister ships built, the HMS Viva, HMS Valiant and HMS Vulcan, out of the four ships of the class, HMS Viva is the only one still in existence.

Service

The ship entered service in November 2020, and was one of the first ships built by the Sprinske Empire, as most of the nation’s ships at that time were earlier-made ships from the Sprinske Communist Republic. As the navy still had a lot of ships from before the Sprinske Revolution, building new ones wasn’t really necessary, so during that period up until the start of the Sprinske Civil War, there was very little demand for new ships to be made, making this ship one of only a handful ships built after the Sprinske Revolution.

Sprinske Civil War

On 3 August 2021, the Sprinske Civil War was declared when the communist faction split away to form their own nation, violating the constitution and triggering a war. West Sprinske took about 35% of the navy, including the HMS Invader, one of the navy’s finest ships. Invader soon became the flagship of West Sprinske, and in response to the sudden loss of 35% of their navy, the Sprinske Empire began ordering new ships, including more ships of the Emperor-Class. The first of these was the HMS Viva, a new sister ship of the HMS Emperor that was almost identical, with the only difference being an eagle-shaped figurehead on the Viva’s bow that made the ship slightly longer. To this day, Viva remains the only ship of the Emperor-Class still in service.
