The Governor General of Philosostan was the leader and ruler of the Philosostan Region. They were under the control of a joint regional administration between the Empire of Him and New Zealand.
The Governor General is a politically independent individual and does not have any alliances towards any TCM member state however is forced to endure the leadership of the Empire of Him, which the Commonwealth has claimed that many are suffering under the rule of 'Him'.
Recent attempts to gain Commonwealth control over the region have failed due to the Governor rejecting acts of violence. On 1 September 2022, the Governor General allowed the Empire to gain complete control of Philosostan and appointed the dictator, Him as Grand Duke of Philosostan. Secretary General of the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations called the event the "last death of the free Philosostan".
