The Free People's Army (FPA) was the armed forces of East Galway. The Free People’s Army was led by the President as Commander in Chief, and was the only standing military force nationally. The FPA was led nominally by the Commander-in-Chief, who was always the President of East Galway and held the rank of Marshal. The Chief of Staff served as active military head.
