The Theritree government-in-exile is the rebel government of the Eco-Republic of Theritree, arising from the Gearheart Revolution and the overthrowing of the Council of Theriotypic Orders. It operates from the city of Simurgh in the Holy Empire of the Kappa.

History

2024

Formation

After the Gearheart Revolution, the exile government fled Theritree and traveled to the Holy Empire of the Kappa.

Conflict against Gearheart

The exile government of Theritree, as well as the militant therianthrope mercenary group Sierra Six, have waged war against Gearheart's government since 7 August. This conflict is approaching its end as Gearheart's forces break.

Battle of Tully Park

The Battle of Tully Park was a military engagement between Gearheart's forces and forces of the Theritree government-in-exile. The battle lasted approximately two hours and resulted in a victory for the exile forces.

Battle

First phase

Four soldiers of the First Free Theritree Regiment, a Sierra Six combat unit, were strung out across the #1 baseball field at Tully park, lightly armed, when eight hostile soldiers of the 1st Therian Light Brigade "Gearheart's Greatest" engaged them. Both sides, separated by a fence, traded fire until the exile soldiers depleted their ammunition supply and performed a fighting retreat. The exile soldiers reached the playground of the park, where their melee weapons could have more effect in close-quarters engagement. Around this time, one of Gearheart's soldiers fell from a tree while firing on exile forces and departed the engagement. Subsequently, two of Gearheart's soldiers and one of the exile soldiers were hit and wounded. The two 1st Light Brigade soldiers retreated.

Second phase

After the two enemy retreated, Gearheart's forces had no contact with the exile forces. As a result, all four were able to escape to the skatepark nearby, where their foam ball blasters could ricochet and deal intense damage. Half an hour later, the four remaining Gearheart soldiers, including General Gearheart himself, engaged the four exile forces. In this brief but fierce engagement, Striker, a Sierra Six ordnance specialist, was injured from a fall. Barrages of ammo ricocheting around wounded another pair of Gearheart soldiers. Gearheart himself withstood a blow to the face from a foam sword that had the effect of shattering the mesh eyeholes of his fox mask, resulting in a mass retreat and victory for the exile forces.
