Joshua Dixon Thompson (born 2016) is a micronationalist and Head of State and Head of the Department of Economy of Sovereignavia. Thompson was a founder of Sovereignavia, and deposed the government in the September coup (disambiguation 2023 Gymnasian coup), and is a renowned military and civil strategist.

Personal Life

Joshua Thompson was born on March 27th, 2016 in Utah, and has lived in Utah since. Thompson is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and grandson of Glenn Bergstrom Dixon, a micronationalist, and co-founder of Guanomia.

Political Career

Thompson was first exposed to micronationalism when his brother suggested visiting the Republic of Molossia, but became a member of the micronational community when he founded The Empire of Sovereignavia. Joshua Thompson joined the Catholic Republic of Pontunia on October 20th, 2023. Thompson is a conservative, and supports the Republican Party and Theocracy.

Military Career

Thompson was the Grand Admiral of the Empire of Sovereignavia, and helped organize the military. On September 16th, 2023, Thompson visited The Republic of Molossia, and while he was visiting, he became a space cadet in Molossia's Space Force. Thompson also orchestrated the September Coup, and was the head of the military junta while it was in place. Although Thompson ran for the Head of Department of Military in October of 2023, he lost to Scott Wolford. On the 17th of October, 2023, Joshua Thompson participated in the Battle of the Bishop Storehouse

Media Career

Thompson is head of the newspaper "The Early Bird" based in Pontunia. Thompson also appeared as an extra on an episode of Studio C

Honors

Thompson became an Officer of the Order of Diplomatic Friendship, issued by Benjamin Levinson on the 6th of November, 2023.
