The Department of Defence and Public Security (Italian: Dipartimento della Difesa e della Pubblica Sicurezza) was a department of the Executive Council of Pinang. The department is responsible for the defence, Military Forces, Statal Police and public security of the Commonwealth. On 20 September 2020 it was merged with the Department of Economy and Labour into the Department of Defence, Public Security, Economy and Labour. The department was re-established on 22 October 2020.
