The Kingdom of Herzetia, more commonly known as Herzetia, was a micronation located in Oregon, United States. It was made up of five provinces. All of Herzetia's claims were in North America, with its borders touching the United States of America. It was located approximately 40 miles from the State of Malinovia. Herzetia was an absolute monarchy, and the king served as the Herzetian representative in the Micronational Assembly. The Kingdom of Herzetia is dissolved as of August 9, 2020 due to the Insurgency's victory during the Herzetian Insurgency.

Etymology

The name "Herzetia" was invented by the current monarch of the micronation and has no direct ties to anything intentionally, although the German word for "heart" is "herz".

History

The Kingdom of Herzetia was founded and declared independence from the United States of America on March 25 of 2018, on the basis of the monarch's disapproval of United States politics and society. There is no constitution or bill of rights written, but a declaration of independence does exist.
