The De Soto Confederation (sometimes shortened as DSC) was an organization of allied micronations in central Florida. The organization was founded on May 27th, 2014, by President Anthony Smith of the Cockatiel Empire and Net Vrocaw, then-president of Huro-Atlantica.

The confederation was the brainchild of Vrocaw, but President Smith had contributed to the concept. Prince Austin Reinhart of the Principality of Chitose had made the largest contributions, including the design of the currency in the confederation. These designs have since been lost. The idea of the confederation was to bring many nations together in a union similar to that of New Canada.

Since the confederation was never officially disbanded, the true date of disestablishment cannot be ascertained. However, it is thought to be sometime in the Fall of 2015. All member nations have since ceased to exist.

Requirements

  • Nation must agree to recognize all members of the Confederation
  • Nation must have its capital located in central Florida OR have a large percentage of the nation reside in central Florida (see map)
