The Council of Representatives, often simply the Council, was the unicameral, democratic legislature in the Concordian Republic. It was established with the second republic in Concordia on 23 August, 2022. It consisted of 5 members, from 3 voting districts and 2 federal districts. It was led by a Premier and was presided over by the Concordian President.
History
The Council of Representatives was formed on 23 August, 2022. It was formed as a result of the Concordian Republic's Second Republic reforms. It is the effective successor to the National Cabinet of the Concordian Republic, the Concordian Republic's previous legislature. On 24 August, members were appointed to the three regional seats. One of these was former President Ozren C, who took the seat of Ithyca and the post of Premier. The other two were Mackenzie Arra, former Aeonian governor, to the seat of Kersika, and former Vice President H Norman to the seat of Aeonia.
The Council of Representatives was effectively retired upon Alsann's foundation on 9 September 2022, and was formally disbanded on 23 September. The Council of Representatives was structurally succeeded directly by the Alsane Federal Council, the unicameral legislature of the Alsann Republic.
