The Confederation of Davonia, more commonly known as Davonia, was a micronation located in Detroit, Michigan, in North America. The nation was founded on 22 May 2023, by the Secretary of the Confederation of Davonia, D. The nation dissolved on 11 November 2023, after a bill known as the "Merger Bill" was passed in both Davonia and Millius which detailed a plan to integrate the Confederation of Davonia into the Republic of Millius.
History
Due to Davonia having been a relatively new nation at the time of its dissolution, it did not have much history. However, it shared a majority of its history with the defunct nation of Amberiana, due to the leaders having cooperated with each other in many affairs before Amberiana's collapse. Part of this shared history included the language of Amberianan, now called Davonian, among other things. This language is still used in the Republic of Millius.
After the Republic of Amberiana's dissolution, the former president, Amber, did not want the work she spent on the Amberianan language to go to waste. Because of this, and her knowledge of D wanting to form a micronation, she passed all documents detailing the Amberianan language over to them, hoping that they would expand on the language. During D's rule over Davonia, they worked on the language, until it was detailed in the Millia-Davonian Treaty of 2023 that the work would be handed over to the President of Millius, Atreus.
As well as this, Davonia was to become a district in Amberiana before its collapse on April 27, 2023. It was agreed upon that Davonia would have the most autonomy of all districts, and would have complete control over its own people and government. However, the nation collapsed before this could happen.
Territory
Territories in Davonia were known as "Autonomous States" and had almost complete control over their own affairs. There was only one autonomous state in Davonia at the time of dissolution, that being the State of Davonia.
The State of Davonia was the first autonomous state admitted into Davonia, and was the most important. In the Constitution of Davonia, it was stated that the State of Davonia would be the only autonomous state that would not have its own government, as the federal government needed somewhere to be hosted. Because of this, all federal government buildings and offices were located in the State of Davonia.

National Symbols
National Bird
The national bird of Davonia was the northern cardinal. This was due to the idea that if you spot one, it means a loved one is watching you from the afterlife.[h]
National Languages
The national languages of Davonia were English and Davonian. English was a national language due to the language having been one of the most commonly spoken, and due to its use all across the world in global affairs. Davonian was a national language due to it having been the language most commonly spoken in government, as well as it having been created in Davonia.
Davonian, like English, is phonetic. It has its own characters, but is translated using the Germanic letters of English,[i] due to no keyboards or online documents containing Davonian characters.
Flag of Davonia
The flag of Davonia consisted of three rows. The top row consisted of a dark blue, the middle row consisted of a light blue, and the bottom row consisted of a purple color. Each of these rows had the same aspect ratio, meaning that each color took up the same amount of space on the flag as the other two colors.
The dark blue represented the sea. This was due to the large presence of shipping and boating that took place in Davonia. It also represented fishing, as it was also a large part of Davonian culture, with most individuals that resided within Davonian borders, as well as most Davonian citizens, having been avid fishers.
The light blue represented peace. Blue has been proven to have psychological effects on people, those effects being a calmed state, calming oneself down, and drowsiness. The Confederate Board of Davonia decided that, to represent the nation's values of being peaceful and welcoming, the Davonian flag should represent that.
The purple was to represent enlightenment, spirituality, and wisdom. With the nation's large focus on education and philosophy, the CBD thought that the flag should represent that. With purple representing all of these ideals, the board chose the color.
National Tree
The national tree of Davonia was the Ohio buckeye. This tree was chosen as the national tree due to its abundance in Ohio, which is where Davonia was located.
National Flower
The national flower of Davonia was the lily of the valley. This was due to the lily of the valley representing the return of happiness.
Davonian Dollar
The Davonian dollar was one of two official currencies used in the Confederation of Davonia. It was similar to a cryptocurrency in the way of it being an online-only currency. This meant that one could not physically hold a Davonian dollar in their hands. The Davonian dollar was worth $2.50 in USD.

The Confederate Army of Davonia (CAD) was a military organization within the Confederation of Davonia. It consisted of three divisions, all three of which were used to protect the government and citizens of Davonia in the event of an attack on Davonian soil.
