The Commune of Eden is a region in the Communal People's Republic of Wamong that was founded on 24 November 2019 (24.11.19/11.24.19). It was proclaimed after the nation was once again re-organized into new subdivisions due to the recent events in the nation, specifically the ending of the War of Wamongian Reclamation. The region has the largest population out of all of the regions, having 9 citizens, and comprises entirely of the nation's capital, Edenville.
Etymology
The region gains it's name from the fact that it surrounds the nation's capital, Edenville, which itself was named after the predecessor nation of the People's Imperial State of Eden, which was the nation that founded the city of Edenville.
History
The region was founded on 11 May 2021, after the Wamongian government re-organized the territory into new subdivisions.
