The Commonwealth Joint Army Forward Operations Base (CJAFOB) was a main operations base in the city of Tauranga, New Zealand. It was used by forces of the Joint Allied Defense and Peacekeeping Command and the New Zealand Cadet Corps.
On 29 August 2022 troops of the New Zealand Cadet Corps began to join the Ward Empire and the Joint Allied Defense and Peacekeeping Command in an effort to thwart Empire of Him expansion into New Zealand. On that day the Allied Military Council designated the base the Commonwealth Joint Army Forward Operations Base and announced the base would be operated by both New Zealand and the Tauranga Allied Micronational Treaty Organization.
Two days later, insurgents from the Empire of Him were expected to be present at the base, however they never showed up and intelligence provided by the Ward Empire suggested that the insurgents were afraid of the presence of the Ward Empire and other allied forces at the base and refused to attack the base. This became known as the Battle of the Point and it solidified the Commonwealth presence in Tauranga.
In 2023 the Allied Military Council announced that it would no longer continue the presence of JADPC troops at the base and officially handed back full control to the New Zealand Defence Forces.
