The Commonwealth-Empire War was a conflict begun by the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations and the Empire of Him. It was begun by the fourth session of the General Assembly of the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations when the General Assembly ratified GATCM Resolution 07. Immediately following this the Battle of the General Assembly occurred and lead to one casualty on the side of the Empire. The Arstotzkan Union immediately announced the use of the TAMTORF Joint Allied Response Defense Battalion, the Anarchist Federation of Taurstan pledged the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade (PVB) and the UDROR pledged the Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR. One day after the Battle of the General Assembly, the Reclamation of former territory occurred, resulting in a stalemate over Philosostan.
The Commonwealth began strong with their forces winning the Battle of the General Assembly however the Battle of Philosostan ended in a stalemate with the Empire of Him. On 28 August, joint PVB and UDROR won a decisive victory over Empire claims of Rat Island at the Battle of Rat Island, leading to a second success for the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth was able to gain a third success with the Battle of the Point at the Commonwealth Joint Army Forward Operations Base in the Commonwealth Defense Region, however a day later the Commonwealth watched as the Empire was able to lay claim to the entirety of Philosostan as it was granted by the Governor General who later abdicated and allowed for the Emperor of Him to become Grand Duke of Philosostan.
On 7 September 2022, the final draft of the Philosostan Convention were completed and were presented to the Sixth Session of the General Assembly of the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations.
On 21 September 2022 the Department of National Defense of the Arstotzkan Union announced that anyone considered a resident or immigrant would be immediately conscripted into the People's Armed Forces of the Arstotzkan Union raising the number of troops enlisted from 25 to 250. This also expanded the size of the JARDAB to 263.
After weeks of war. Talks between UDROR and the Empire of Him leading up to the Seventh Session allowed for the creation of a peace deal between the Commonwealth and Empire, officially ending the Commonwealth - Empire War.

First Battle of the General Assembly - 24 August 2022
The First Battle of the General Assembly was the first battle which began the war between the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations and the Empire of Him. The battle consisted of a cyber attack on the main communication site of the TCM minutes later, the General Assembly declared war on the Empire of Him. The Battle of the General Assembly was the first victory for the Commonwealth forces.
Reclamation of former territory - 25 August 2022
The Reclamation of former territory also known as the Battle of Philosostan and was an anti-insurgency operation conducted by the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade (PVB) and the UDROR which was a greater part of the Commonwealth - Empire War, resulting in a stalemate and the Philosostan being declared as a de-militarized zone on the authority of the Philosostan Governor General. The insurgent "empire of him" forces posed no military resistance.
At around 12:50pm, the 25th August 2022, the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade (PVB), a military branch approved for deployment by the Tauranga Allied Micronational Treaty Organization Response Forces, occupied Philosostan as apart of their 'counter-insurgency operation' against the Empire of Him. 6 of the PVB's volunteers, 2 members of the Gormania Federal Overwatch (GFO) and one member of the Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR. The Governor General of Philosostan ordered the PVB to retreat out of concern over the conflict escalating to violence. The Battle of Philosostan resulted in a stalemate for both Commonwealth and Him Forces.
Operation: Sea Rodent - 28 August 2022
On the 28th of August 2022, part of the Greater Commonwealth - Empire war, Operation: Sea Rodent was a clandestine military operation conducted by the joint forces of the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade and the Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR. The goal of the operation was to place the rat island territory claimed by insurgents under control of the AFT and UDROR Co-governance scheme. The operation resulted in a Decisive PVB and DAF-UDROR victory.
Battle of the Point - 31 August 2022
The Battle of the Point was a small conflict between the Joint Allied Response Defense Battalion and the Empire of Him's benevolent leader, Him. The battle was another victory for the Commonwealth and has allowed for stronger Commonwealth presence with the Commonwealth Defense Region.
Fall of Philosostan: 22 August 2022 / 25 August 2022 - 1 September 2022
The Fall of Philosostan was a short event that semi-began on 22 August 2022 and officially on 25 August 2022. It began following the failure of Commonwealth Forces to successfully secure Philosostan and beginning the stalemate between Commonwealth Forces and the Empire during the War. During the meeting of the Fifth Session of the General Assembly of the TCM, the main priority of Commonwealth Forces became the setting up of the Commonwealth Defense Region to help siege Philosostan's Empire Forces and forces them into surrender to the Commonwealth. On 1 September 2022, the Governor General, the head of the Joint-Controlled Regional Authority of the Empire of Him and New Zealand, allowed the Empire to claim absolute sovereignty over Philosostan and remove any chance of Commonwealth control over the region. Following the Battle of the Point, the Commonwealth did expect Empire forces to slowly degrade over Philosostan. On 5 September 2022, Secretary General of the TCM, Ethan Brinkman, announced:
The Empire's capture of Philosostan marks the fall of the once great region. Philosostan has fallen. It shall be the duty of this great Commonwealth, to gain it back for our allied forces.
Operation: Supremacy: Cancelled.
Operation: Supremacy was an awaiting military operation to retake the Philosostan Territory and allow for complete Commonwealth Domination over the claimed Commonwealth Defense Region. The proposed operation was created by the Ward Empire as an idea for a counter-attack and non-violent action to retake the territory. Much of the Operation was top secret and is only known about between the main members of the JARDAB.
Second Battle of the General Assembly: 7 September 2022
The Second Battle of the General Assembly was a small conflict between the Confederate Democracy of Gamers and Grayson Country, two former allies. The battle occurred between the Minister of Culinary Affairs, Senator Senko and the High Emperor of Grayson Country, Grayson Moore. The battle was a victory for Grayson Country but it is contested by many at the event with some who say it was indecisive, with neither winning. Ultimately the Secretary General stepped in and called for an end otherwise both nations would be muted in the General Assembly indefinitely.
Operation: Overlord: 27 September 2022 - 26 October 2022
Operation: Overlord is an awaiting military operation to be a stronger counter-offensive for the defense of the Commonwealth Defense Region. It is to take the place of Operation: Supremacy. The name, Overlord is in reference to the landings on the beaches of Normandy, France on 6 June 1944. Although the battle and operation is not expect to be as large as it, the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations wanted it to have a good name, similar to the reason for Operation: Supremacy.
Philosostan Coup: 28 September 2022
On 28 September 2022, joint forces of the Joint Allied Response Defense Battalion and the Philosostan People's Front lead a bloodless coup against the Imperial Controlled Philosostan, liberating it under order of the former and now President of Philosostan, Gareth Cass.
Peace Treaty

On 26 October 2022, during the Seventh Session of the General Assembly, the Election Leader of UDROR and soon to be Secretary General announced that talks had begun with the Empire of Him to end the Commonwealth - Empire War. Current Secretary General, Ethan Brinkman discussed with the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums and Taurstan Anarchist Federation along with the Empire of Him a peace treaty and the conditions the nations were willing to abide by.
Towards the end of the session all nations agreed to allow for the Empire of have control of Philosostan and Rat Island as well as the Arstotzkan Union Proper (once the Arstotzkan Union leaves at the end of 2022) in exchange for the ending of the war. The motion was presented by the Secretary General and all nations, including the Empire voting in favour of ending the war. At 13:23 the war was over.
Aftermath
Rat Island Sovereignty Dispute
Main article: Rat Island Sovereignty Dispute
As per the terms of the Commonwealth - Empire Peace Treaty Agreement, the Rat Island area would be handed over to the Empire of Him as a means to negotiate peace. However prior to the formation of the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations, the Ward Empire claimed sovereignty over the island and following the Battle of Rat Island, the Ward Empire was promised the return of its claim over Rat Island. After the end of the War, the Empire of Benereich announced an Ultimatum to the out-going Secretary General their claim over the territory.
On 29 October 2022, the Secretary General formed the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations Commission on Rat Island, with the intention of dividing the island between the three nations.
