The Republic of Bushistan (Bushistani: Republik van Buskistän) colloquially known as Bushistan, is a micronation with scattered territories across Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina The mainland is located in North Carolina, home to its capital, Bush City. The country has various attractions, including a museum, a memorial park, a space center with tours, a multipurpose sports complex, 2 national parks, and 3 national trails, and a small shopping mall.
Etymology
The name "Bushistan" derives from the nation's landscape due to the area in which it was settled was full of bushes and trees. The founders of Bushistan were originally going to name the nation "Bushia" but it was later decided that Bushistan sounded better.
History
In late December 2020, Baylor and Aidan came to the land to create a base. The two settled there and Cael came down with them. On 19 December 2020, Baylor established Bush County and told Aidan and Cael to pledge their loyalty to the county. Cael Was radically vying for independence. Cael got Aidan thinking about it and called an independence referendum that same day. It was a unanimous vote and later that night, Aidan penned the Declaration of Independence and signed it. The next morning, the constitution was signed into law. Cael Pierce, our first president, lead us through Baylor's First Rebellion. The flag and national anthem were created by Aidan. Then Thomas came along and started making claims to the land. Baylor started to brainwash us into thinking that Thomas was evil. After nearly getting us into a war, Baylor was stripped of all Power. After a short skirmish, Cael and Baylor left the country. Thomas was forgiven and made a respected citizen. Because President Cael left, Aidan became Bushistan's Second President. Then Baylor's rebellion Occurred, and after 3 days of fighting, We outsmarted Baylor by pretending to vow to never come back. After that, Bushistan was declared victorious. A war memorial and trial was later dedicated by Aidan and highways were built. Healthcare was also created, and Bushistan will soon be into relations with other nations. On January 16, 2021, The house unanimously changed the name of the country to just the Republic of Bushistan. Despite this name change, their government will remain the same. The same day, Thomas Abell was sworn in as Bushistan's 3rd President.
Early History
On 2 February 2021, the Republic of Bushistan was officially integrated into the Kingdom of Serremwen, now known as the United Kingdom of Serramwen as a Colony/Satellite State through the Treaty of Integration of Bushistan to help stabilize the nation after an economic crash.
On February 3rd, Aiden issued an ultimatum to release Bushistan out of Serramwen's control and when the Kingdom of Serramwen refused to release Bushistan on grounds of a broken treaty, Bushistan started a rebellion to declare themselves independent.
The nation became a dictatorship on the 10th of March 2021. After this, Bushistan was conquered by the Sultanate of Fozro and Republic of Quadria. Bushistan was then divided into eastern and western colonies, with the east being a colony of the Principality of Vous, and the west being a colony of the since abolished Sultanate of Fozro. When the Sultanate of Fozro was abolished, the west colony was annexed by Vous, and created the Vousian Colony of Bushistan. After 2 days, Vous granted independence to Bushistan, and the Republic has been restored.
On January 8, Charles Madgett became the 9th President after his election and inauguration following the January 2022 Presidential Elections against former President Rider and candidate Mitch.
Server destruction
During the early morning hours of October 25, 2022, an individual by the name of "Christina teehee" joined the Bushistani server and used a vulnerability in the MEE6 discord bot to infiltrate the server. They then invited another discord bot and proceeded to destroy the server by banning everyone, removing all roles, and deleting all channels. They then proceeded to create a mass amount of channels under the name of "seized-by-cycoldia-csdf-on-top". This has led many to point blame towards Christina I of Cycoldia and other individuals who have ties to the CSDF. However these claims have not been proven.
Acknowledgment of Sovereignty
On the 27th of October, the President of Bushistan, Maximilian released a statement addressed to the Government of the United Kingdom of Serramwen making a statement regarding the Sovereignty of the United Kingdom of Serramwen's De Jure claims over Bushistan which recognized the Kingdom of Serramwen as the Sovereign state in control of Bushistan, effectively ending the Republic and starting the Bushi Diaspora. In the next election after this, a House of Representatives was elected consisting of Aidan Pierce, as well as three Drotucians. Another Drotucian was elected President. Swiftly after, they were all removed from office and from the server. This was done by Maximillian, who had been elevated to Governor General. Eventually Maximilian was banned, and the Drotucians were put back in their positions
Declaration of Independence
On the 12 of November, the House of Representativess which had been previously elected (now meeting in secret), declared independence. The elected President signed this bill. Today there is still an ongoing dispute, as negotiations have failed. As of now, The Republic claims to be independent while still recognizing the Kingdom of Bushistan as part of Serramwen. The Republic has more members and international recognition, leaving de facto control of the nation to the Republic.
Currently, all claimed territory is under control of Bushistan, leaving Serramwen with no authority over the nation.
Demographics
Race
Most people in Bushistan are white, with about 15% Black, and 5% Middle eastern. Among the White population, most are Irish and German. Among the African population, most are Nigerian.
Ethnicity
The majority of all people in Bushistan are Bushistani-American, measuring about 98 percent of the population. Bushistani-Americans primarily speak American English, and the language, Bushistani.
Religion
The Bushistani constitution doesn't allow a national religion to be set. The majority of people are Atheist or Non-Religions. The most dominant religion is Christianity, about 40%. Among them, 10% are Semi diest, 20% Catholic, and 10% protestant. About 10% are Muslim
Language
The Majority of people speak English at home, but Bushistani is a very large language. Bushistani is used as names of categories and channels in their discord server. The President will start communicating in the general chat. Citizens will learn as they go, and talk in Bushistani back. This plan will have Bushistani used as much, or even more than English.

Media
Bushistan has a variety of different media for its citizens to enjoy. They have three main types of media: News, Radio, and Television. They are managed by the Bushistan Department of Media.
News
The national newspaper is Bushistan News Network. the Bushistan National Radio Channel, (Or BRC for short) is a radio station Live 24/7 with music and news. BNTV Hosts a 24/7 livestream of a variety of TV shows. Bushistan has a variety of namespaces under the .ga tld. All of these have restrictions, but are free to all Bushistani Citizens and residents. These are mostly used by the government though.

Military
The Bushistani Army contains the First Army, and the newly formed 5th Infantry Division. These components defend and protect the nation. Service is not required. The President is commander in chief of the Armed Forces
Government
The Bushistani Government is ruled by a constitution, which the dictator violated. There are 3 branches as set by the constitution. It is based on the US Government of a Modern Republic. Most documents are publicized because of the freedom of information.
Executive Branch
This branch holds the President and the Vice President. The incumbent holder of this position is Charles Madgett. The holder can pass executive orders, and sign or veto bills into law.
Legislative Branch
This branch only has the House of Representatives. They have the power to pass a President's idea into a bill. According to the Constitution, Representatives are directly elected by the people
Judicial
The First Amendment to the Bushistani Constitution details the operation of Bushistani Courts. Bushistan has 3 courts, the Criminal, Military and Supreme Courts.
The Criminal Court is responsible for making rulings regarding anyone who violates a law.
The Military Court is responsible for making rulings regarding any member of the military who has committed an act of treason, espionage or mutiny.
The Supreme Court is responsible for ruling whether or not laws abide by the constitution.
Foreign Relations
Bushistan has formally recognized The Kingdom Of Serramwen. They signed a mutual recognition treaty on 25 January 2021. The Document has been publicated and can be read . They recognize all members in the GUM, Cupertino Alliance, and most in the Micronational Assembly. They also recognize The Plurinational State Of Richensland, and The Kingdom of Westavia, The Misberian Confederacy, The Free State of Florensia, and The Federal States of Delphia. They don't recognize The Republic of Tuoedeth.
Climate
Being in the south, Bushistan has a sub-tropical climate. It is not uncommon for it to be in the upper 70's in January. It is miserable in the summer. It very rarely snows and has only snowed once on the record before.
