Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic

The Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic (AFNRR) is the military organisation responsible for the defense of the New Rubix Republic and its national interests. It consists of the New Rubixian Army and the New Rubixian Air Force. The AFNRR has a strength of over a dozen active servicemen and reservists and is supported by the Ministry of Defense and several other civilian agencies and auxiliary organisations. The organisation was established in 2015.

Role

The Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic's primary duties are to defend the Republic from threats both foreign and domestic, contribute to the security of the Republic's territory and the stability of the Republic's geographic region and defend the national interests of the Republic and its allies.

History

The AFNRR played a central role in crushing the revolutionary leftist "Dabbax League" during the 2016 civil war. However, it has never been involved in external conflicts as the country has never engaged in micronational conflict. The AFNRR was formed on 10 October 2015.

Organisation

The leadership of the Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic includes the President of the New Rubix Republic, who both serves as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, the Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Armed Forces Central Commission and service members. The AFNRR and the department of defence make up the defence ministry. It is staffed by both military and civilian personnel.

The Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic are administered by the Chairman of the Armed Forces Central Commission and Minister of Defense. Brigadier General Becker is the current Chairman of the Armed Forces Central Committee, and assumed this position 12 May 2017. The current Minister of Defense is William Cooper who was appointed and sworn in on 10 October 2023. The Armed Forces Central Commission (AFCC) is the supreme military command and control office of the Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic
