Brought into existence by Taigh a Bata Act 51, the Abode of Peace and Language was set up by the Republic of Taigh a Bata to help promote peace and language usage. Hence, it was the only area in Taigh a Bata where there is no military at all. Until the creation of Centro-Nordo Alltgobhlach it had no borders with the rest of Taigh a Bata.
The Abode was abolished on the 19th of September 2011.
