The 2022 East Galway presidential election was the first election for the President of East Galway since the Reforms of April and the proclamation of the socialist republic. The current acting president, Ludwig Collins, was the only nominee. The election happened simultaneously with the May 2022 East Galway general election and the May 2022 East Galway gubernatorial elections.
As East Galway is a parliamentary democracy, the President is a ceremonial position, with the executive power is invested de facto in the Premier.
