The May 2022 East Galway gubernatorial elections will be the first gubernatorial elections in the districts of East Galway after the Reforms of April and the proclamation of the Socialist Republic. The Party of Labour and Iron and the Liberty Front will run candidates. The elections shall happen simultaneously along with the May 2022 East Galway general election and the 2022 East Galway presidential election. After the governors are elected, they shall appoint a lieutenant, and begin administration in their respective districts.
