Weg

Weg is the official demonym used to describe a citizen of the Federal Union of Wegmat. Wegs are distributed into 4 main groups split by species.

• Weg Deer is the largest group of Wegs, comprising of American white tail-deer. These deer have been assigned citizen roles by the Wegmat Government, first from a survey and now from the Wegmat Ministry of Health keeping track of births, deaths and general populations of unique deer spotted in Wegmat
• Weg Humans are the most well-known Wegs due to their ability to speak langauge. In the Constitution of Wegmat it explicitly says members of Parliament must be human. All active Federal Government members are human.
• Weg Canines are dogs. Usually, pets are under the custody of Weg Humans. One stray dog was assigned a citizenship role before being rescued by the Ministry of Health and transferred to the care of a local humane society.
• Weg Outcasts are the other species granted citizenship status. This includes beavers which they are 8 of, foxes which they are 7 of and felines which they are 4 of.

A common derogatory usage of the term Weg is Wegster.
