Republic of Velansia, or Velansia (before 2018 — Velansian Federation) is a micronation founded on August 3, 2014 which claims terriories in Udmurtia, Kirov oblast', Leningrad oblast' of Russia and also Brovary and Hust rayons of Ukraine. Before 2018 — Federal President-Parliament republic, today — Unitary Parliamentary republic.

Velansia is among the oldest Post-soviet micronations, the main activity and social life of the country is maintained in its group in VK

History

The Confederation of Velansia was founded in 2014 by Valeriy Savarniuk. On August 3 of 2014 he declared independence from the Republic of Fineland and seceded from the union. In 2015, the 2nd Constitution of Velansia was adopted, according to which Velansia became a federal state and consisted of 15 subjects.

Since 2018, Velansia is a unitary parliamentary republic.

Sine December 7, 2021, The President of Velansia is Seraphim Brezhnev.
