The Sultanate of Perimata (also spelled Perimatah) is a Malaysian micronation that functions as a protectorate of the Laskaridian Commonwealth Association, held through the state-owned Royal Kedah Company. It is governed constitutionally by a Sultan and executively by a Chief Minister (CM). It was founded on 20 August 2019, and was rocked with communist insurgency that recently flared up. The nation was incorporated as a freely associated state by the Federation of Gapla on 24 March 2024, and withdrew to perceived apathy and lack of involvement from Gaplan officials in the conflict against the communist insurgents. Seeking more help, the nation joined the Laskaridian Commonwealth Association as a protectorate.
