Emperor Oren I (born 14 December 2010) is a Scottish micronationalist. He is the founder and ruler of Aurumia and the co-founder of the Holy Kingdom of Leaf. Oren's personal interests include writing, biking, and studying. He claims descent from Pharaoh Amenhotep the Great.
Childhood
Oren Broderick was born in Scotland to English parents. His younger sister Zara was born just over two years later, in early 2013. He attended Little Beavers Nursery in 2013-14, then moved to the Scottish Highlands. He became Emperor Oren I of Aurumia in 2022, having almost completed his nation's foundation.
Micronationalism
Oren Broderick first began wanting to create a micronation in 2021, after reading a book on how to make a country. On 4 April 2022, he founded the House of Debica, also known as the Imperial House of Aurumia, as the royal dynasty. He divided Aurumia into three states. Emperor Oren granted the Province of Elppa to his companion Louis Schanke, the Province of South Debica to , and the Province of North Debica to his cousin Roan Gilson. He also composed the Aurumian national anthem, The Sun Is Shining.
