Roesstal is the national capital of Norton. It is located within the province of Regionem Capitis, and as such it also serves as the provincial capital. Mill Green City (MGC) is the seat of the nation's federal executive, hosting Government House, the official residence and workplace of the President of Norton. The city was formed on 6 July 2021 as a result of the Cities, urban areas, and provincial administrative divisions Act, 2021 of the National Senate. It was granted and designated the status of national capital on the 10 August 2021.
The city is the second largest in Norton, behind Lindenrouge.
Etymology
The city is named after the neighbouring "Little Norton Mill", its overshot waterwheel is 13 feet 9 inches (4.19 m) in diameter and was cast by G. Parsons of the Parrett engineers.
Administration
The administration of MGC is carried out by a Mayor (City Chancellor) who also serves as the President of the State of Norton. The Mayor is responsible for the maintenance of law and order in the city, the distribution of the designated budget, the city's judicial system, and the structuring of education, healthcare and social services within the city.
