Spajistan, officially the Republic of Spajistan is a self declared sovereign state often known as a micronation by external observers, located in the United Kingdom. It was established by first president, Olivia Garcia, on 26 March 2023.
Spajistan is a presidential republic with the President of Spajistan serving as head of state and head of government. The nation's government consists of three branches - the executive (presidency), the legislative (parliament) and the judiciary (supreme court).
History
Spajistan was established on 26 March 2023. The republic was founded by Olivia Garcia who then proceeded to take office as president.
Government and Politics
Spajistan operates under a unitary presidential republic. The three branches of government are legally equal and separate, keeping checks and balances on one another.
Presidency
The president of Spajistan serves as the executive head of state and head of government of the republic. The presidency is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, has to ascent to all legislation before it can become law, as well as appointing ministers to the cabinet.
The president is appointed by the electoral college.
Parliament
Parliament is the national legislative body. It consists of a house of assembly and a senate. The house is presided over by the house speaker, and the senate by the vice president. Parliament make all primary legislation and most bills cannot pass without the consent of parliament.
Parliament can be called or dissolved by the president and parliament also has the duties of impeachment of the presidency.

National culture is heavily inspired by United States culture.
National Symbols
The primary national symbol is the national flag. It consists of a yellow sun, two purple stripes and a white stripe. The purple stripes represent national unity, the white stripe represents peace and the sun represents the people.

Spajistan currently is located within England, United Kingdom. However, the nation claims Bir Tawil, citing that it's the last truly unclaimed land on earth and that the nation can use it productively.
