The Principality of Teplonia (French: Principauté de Teplonia), informally known as Teplonia, is a semi-autonomous principality of the Kingdom of Pinelandia, with the King of Pinelandia serving as Prince of Teplonia.

History

Early History

The earliest record of Teplonia is a NationStates account dating back to 3 August 2019.[1]

Principality of Teplonia

In November 2019, Prime Minister LostDios presented the Teplonia Charter Act to the Kingdom of Pinelandia, proposing the creation of a crown principality under the King of Pinelandia, and free travel.[2] Prime Minister LostDios claimed that Pinelandia colonised Teplonia, and that the crown principality was formed after a month of colonial rule.[3]

During the latter era of this period, Teplonia begins to have a renewed presence on Nationstates.[4]

Withdrawal to Geofictionalism

Around April 2020, Teplonia reappeared on NationStates as the Federated States of Teplonia. The nation fully embraced geofictionalism during this time, bearing an entirely fictious history and statistics.[5]

In June, records of a Restorationist Teplonian Republic show up, citing a post-war period.[6]
