The President of the Federal Republic of Sototen is the head of state of Sototen, since 11 July 2020 they have been elected by the parliament of sototen but before this date they were more powerful and were directly elected, see this page for details of the constitutional crisis.

There was no president in the first provisional government as far as we know, the details of the first provisional government are not very well known and the basic law has been lost
First Republic

Second provisional government
The president and prime minister of the second provisional government were the same of that in the second republic, the second provisional government was set up urgently due to the constitutional crisis
Third republic
- 2nd President - Mathew Wyles
Unexpected Win
In the first presidential elections of the third republic it was expected by citizens that Tobey would win his 3rd election and become president but he had a discussion with his father Mathew and they decided that Mathew, who (although personally he loves Tobey very much) is an independent politician in opposition to Tobey’s advancement party, should be president for the next 6 months and so Tobey (Who is and MP) withdrew from the presidential race and voted for his father, resulting in Mathew being elected president on 14 July 2020. Under the plan Mathew agreed to appoint Tobey as prime minister (advancement party controls all parliamentary seats so he should go unopposed in parliament too) if he got elected, so far Mathew has indicated that he will stick to this promise.
