The Police Force and Public Order Act 2022 is an Act of Assembly that creates and grants policing powers to the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service. Previously the duty of public order policing was the Arstotzkan Federal Guard, now Arstotzkan Presidential Guard.

Section 1: Articles relating to the change of the Arstotzkan Federal Guard

Article 1: This Act will terminate the duty of the Arstotzkan Federal Guard to act as the sole enforcer of law and public order in the Arstotzkan Union.

Article 2: This Act will rename the Arstotzkan Federal Guard to the Arstotzkan Presidential Guard.

Article 3: This Act will enforce the operational boundaries of the Arstotzkan Presidential Guard to be limited to the:

  • Gollandiya Territory
  • Skandinaviya Territory
  • Kholmistyy Rayon Territory

Section 2: Articles relating to the formation of the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service

Article 4: This Act establishes the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service from the duties of the Arstotzkan Federal Guard and the Arstotzkan Police Service.

Article 5: The Arstotzkan Union Federal Police Service will be responsible for the following divisions:

  • Federal Police Department (Tauranga based Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union, as prescribed by Article 1 of the Land and Territories Act 2020)
  • Northern Police Department (New Zealand North Island based Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union, as prescribed by Article 1 of the Land and Territories Act 2020)
  • Southern Police Department (New Zealand South Island based Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union, as prescribed by Article 1 of the Land and Territories Act 2020)
  • American Based Police Department (Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union based in the United States of America, as prescribed by Article 1 of the Land and Territories Act 2020)

Article 6: This Act shall amend Article 4 of the Land and Territories Act 2020 to include the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service in groups of the Arstotzkan Union that can protect Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union.

Article 7: This Act will empower the Kommondant of the Arstotzkan Union Defense Forces (as described by Article 3 of the Arstotzkan Statute on Military Systems 2022) to;

  • elect a Chief of the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service to run operations and;
  • Pursuant to the provisions of the rules regarding the seated members of the Executive Committee of the Office of the Presidency of the Arstotzkan Union, must be given the right of representation on the Executive Committee of the Office of the Presidency of the Arstotzkan Union.
