The Order of the Holy Cross of the Democratic Christian Republic of Melite, was the Highest Chivalric Award of the D.C.R. It was normally awarded to Heads of State or Citizens of the D.C.R. and of Foreign Countries, for their immense contribution to the Micronation.
This order had only been awarded one time, to date, on the first-ever Founding Day celebrations.

Dormancy
The Order went dormant when President Tonna replaced the three Orders of Melite with the Order of the Golden Sun, as per Presidential Order 5/2021.[1]
