The October 2022 Putsch Attempt was a foiled plot by General of the AVA and Gauleiter of New Slavia, Konstantin Antonovsky to stage a large scale uprising in protest of what was seen as subversion by foreign actors in particular Hunt Powell and Matthew Laptev, as well as discontent with the Ausverian Volkskammer. The plot would have gone through had Antonovsky not prematurely edited the microwiki page for the Organization for a Greater Fatherland which aroused suspicion and lead to Fredrick M. personally investigating the situation.

Background

In the beginning of September 2022 Samuel W. founded the Organization for a Greater Fatherland a radical nationalist organization opposed by a large portion of the Ausverian Population. The OGF was the center of an intermicronational diplomatic dispute due to their aims of conquering all micronations located on Long Island and was inevitably banned on 18 September 2022. After its ban, the OGF went underground masquerading as a book club.

Volkskammer disputes

In the Ausverian Volkskammer, Konstantin Antonovsky felt as though his propositions to the Volkskammer were not being taken seriously particularly due to the fact that several of his were vetoed while ones by Hunt Powell had passed, Antonovsky began to see this as foreign influence within the Volkskammer and began formulating a plan for a revolt.

Attempted Putsch

By 16 October Antonovsky had ammassed several co-conspirators including Samuel W. and Reichskommissar Johann Durham of RK New Rhineland. The plot was well underway however on 19 October Matthew Laptev alerted Chancellor Fredrick M. of an edit which had been made to the OGF page stating that the Organization had become active again which lead to an immediate investigation after Fredrick M. had noticed that he had been banned from the "Book Club" server. After demanding entry back into the server Fredrick M. discovered a conversation discussing plans against the Ausverian Government leading to Antonovsky being confronted and eventually suspended from all government positions.
