North Dirigo, was a self-proclaimed Semi-federal republic and sovereign state, though it was commonly referred to as a micronation by external sources. Most of its territory was located in the U.S. states of Maine and North Carolina. Its capital city was Newton. North Dirigo was annexed by the State of Faltree on 24 September 2021, being integrated as Faltrian-Dirigo.
