The National Populist Party or the National Populists is the largest political party in Austrovia. The National Populists believe in national conservatism, right-wing populism, and monarchism. The party was founded on September 21, 2017, when the Conservative Party and the Independence Party united during the 1st Federal Election.
History
The National Populist Party was formed from a merge between the Right-Wing Independence Party and Centre-Right Conservative Party. Andy Irons was the original leader but was replaced by Travis Lee after he became Emperor. The party has stayed as the majority party throughout the Empire's history. This largely due to the country's large conservative population.
