Responsibilities

- Nuclear Deterrence: If applicable, managing the country's nuclear deterrent capability. This involves maintaining and safeguarding nuclear weapons, as well as developing policies related to nuclear deterrence and disarmament.
- Cyber Defence: Protecting the country's critical infrastructure and information systems against cyber threats. This may involve developing cyber defense capabilities, conducting cyber security operations, and collaborating with other countries to address cyber threats.
- Defence Industry: Supporting the country's defense industry and defense-related research and development. This includes working with defense contractors, promoting innovation in defense technology, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources for defense production.
- Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief: Providing military support for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts, both domestically and internationally.
