The Ceticilian Special Parliamentary election, March 2021 was a special Ceticilian Parliamentary election and the third one of 2021. Jordan Lord willingly dropped out of the election to cede the empty seat to Vapo Bapo, while Roswell Ceticiliam left the nation shortly after the election concluded.
Background
After A. resigned her Parliamentary seat, a replacement was sought, leading to this election. This election is the third of 2021 and the second "special" election of the same year.
Electoral system
The electoral system was approval voting.
Results and Aftermath
In total, 9 votes were cast in this election. Thanks to Roswell Ceticiliam and Jordan Lord implicitly or explicitly dropping out of the race, the sole eligible candidate was Vapo Bapo. The last time something like this happened was in March 2017, when A. dropped out to hand over the win to Taylor Mia Torres.
Because Vapo Bapo is in the Ceticilian Ecological Union, nothing changes in the Parliament as far as party distribution goes.
