The Vishwamitran Ambassador to the Republic of Austria (Hindi: ऑस्ट्रिया गणराज्य में विश्वामित्र के राजदूत‎, Botschafter von Vishwamitra in der Republik Österreich) was the official representative of the Rashtradhyaksh of Vishwamitra and the government of Vishwamitra in Austria. The ambassador was appointed by the Rashtradhyaksh at the recommendation of the Minister of External Affairs. The position was created on 16 May 2021 with the appointment of Arthur C. de Tourneau who continued to serve as the ambassador until the closure of the diplomatic mission on 28 February 2024. Apart from serving as ambassador to Austria, he was also accredited concurrently as non-resident Ambassador to Slovenia.

The representative and chief of mission was a member of the diplomatic corps of Vishwamitra. Vishwamitra unilaterally recognized Austria by a presidential decree on 1 January 2017, however, since the recognition was not currently reciprocated, the position was unaccredited, and served a primarily ceremonial role. The duties of the representative included representing the interests of the Rashtradhyaksh and the government of Vishwamitra in Canada and catering the interests of the non-residential (overseas) citizens of Vishwamitra residing in Austria or are of Austrian origin.

The position of the ambassador was first created on 16 May 2021 along with the creation of a full-fledged mission. Arthur C. de Tourneau was appointed as the ambassador following the creation of the mission. On 3 October 2021, he was concurrently accredited as non-resident ambassador to Slovenia.

In a cabinet decision, the regular diplomatic missions accredited to macronations which are unilaterally recognized by Vishwamitra were reorganized to honorary status on 8 May 2023. Thereupon, the ambassador was re-designated as honorary ambassador. Tourneau continued to serve as honorary ambassador in Austria and Slovenia until 28 February 2024, when the Ministry of External Affairs announced the dissolution of all honorary missions, thereby discharging all honorary diplomats from their office.
