La veu de Caïd (The voice of Caïd) is the only Caïd newspaper and its format is online. Its owned by the Nook Group, owned by entrepreneur and businessman Tomàs Nook. The ideology of the newspaper is liberal and supports the government of President Hereu and the New Center Coalition.

History

The newspaper was founded in August 2018 as a private initiative financed by various businessmen, including Tomàs Nook. As the first Editor in chief, she was elected by the board of directors of the newspaper Núria Mustela, niece of the Prime Minister and Minister of education and culture. Although she accepted the charge, shortly after she announced her resignation because she understood that her work as minister and editor in chief of the newspaper were not compatible.
