The Kingdom of Moniyan is a fledgling, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service or voluntary. The hard-working, democratic population of 25 million Moniyans enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The tiny government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Defense, and Education. The average income tax rate is 7.3%.

The strong Moniyan economy, worth 320 billion Francs a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Gambling. Average income is 64,125 Francs, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.9 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is well under control.

Newspapers and television are well controlled and state newspapers and TV channels compete equally with privately owned newspapers and TV channels, since Mèo Simmy and Kamui TV came to power

History

Moniyan has been a Galician settlement since Antiquity. In 1215, the Schleswigs came to build a fortified castle on the site of what is now Moniyan. Control of this territory again passed to the Baroque family in 1515.

Moniyan was a protectorate of Spain (1524-1641) and then France (1641-1793) and was annexed by France from 1793 to 1814 and Victorialand from 1814 to 2018, until 2018 Moniyan was independent from Victorialand.

the customs union that linked Moniyan with Mondstadt and the basic agreement of 1918 that recognized the kingdom's right to diplomatic representation.

In 2018 Moniyan independent and still maintains a general tariff agreement with Mondstadt.

The 1916 Constitution stipulates that Moniyan is a constitutional monarchy, with the Empress as the head of state. The leadership team consists of a Premier and 4 officials in the Government Council. The Premier is a Mondstadt citizen chosen by the Empress from those introduced by Mondstadt.

The Protectorate Agreement of 1918 gave Mondstadt the right to help "limited defense" of the kingdom's sovereignty

Goverment

On February 17, 2007, the Moniyan Constitution was promulgated, providing legislative power to the Empress and the National Council (consisting of 2490 members directly elected, serving five-year terms). Executive power is assigned by the Queen to the Prime Minister and 5 Government Advisors (Ministers). Judicial power is completely independent of the Government, belonging to the courts.

Economy

Moniyan's economy is mainly based on tourism and commodity exports. Banking and casinos have been around since 1862. Preferential tariff policies attract foreign companies. Industries include: cosmetic manufacturing, chemicals, electronics, shipbuilding, construction... Moniyan fully integrates tariffs with Mondstadt to collect and reduce trade duties.

Tourist services, export of goods and tax collection from casinos are Moniyan's main source of income. The banking-finance industry developed strongly and steadily. The industry focuses mainly on light industry, which does not damage the environment and has a high value-added content, accounting for 8% of budget income.
