The Kingdom of Compen
The Kingdom of Compen, often referred to as Compen, is an independent city state. It is considered a micronation by some external viewers. Compen was founded July 21, 2020 after ongoing BLM protest. Compen hopes to gain international social justice, slow/stop climate change, and end unnecessary conflicts.
Government
The government is a constitutional parliamentary monarchy. It has, a President, and 5 seats of parliament. Any citizen may create a new party to run for in, become an independent or join an existing party. Parliament and the president can create bills. These bills must be accepted by at least three of the members in parliament. Then it gets sent to the President. If he accepts the bill, he becomes law. If he denies the bill, it is considered veto and invalid. If all five members of parliament agree on the bill, it automatically becomes law, without needing the approval of the president.
Elections are held every year on August 20 for parliament, and February 20 for president. An unlimited amount of citizens can apply to run for president. Whoever gets the most votes becomes the next president. In parliament, you get a number of seats compared to how much of the vote you got. If you got 63% of the vote you get 3 seats. If you get 19% you get 1 seat.
Referendums are a right held in the constitution. If a referendum to remove a government official gets 75% or more of the vote, that person is immediately thrown out of office. The requirements for a referendum are, It must have the keywords, Compen, Referendum, and government. It must have a description. The description must have, at least 200 words, a clear goal, and the names of everyone to be removed from office. It must have a signature, and a state approved ID, for an individual's vote to count. Any misleading, plagiarism, bribery, or physical abuse involved with the signing of the referendum, or making of it, will result in it being deemed illegal and immediately thrown out.
Culture
Compen is known for it's beach style culture, as it is situated on a peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico. It has direct bay access and is 20 minutes from a body of water in every direction. Flip Flops are the most owned type of show in Compen, followed by Sandals, and tennis shoes. The most common car brand is Mercedes-Benz, followed by Ford, and Toyota. It has a majority English speaking population, followed by Corsican and Italian. Fish are the most common pets by far, followed by turtles and dogs.
Compen recognizes, Gay people, Lesbian people, Bisexual people, Straight people, Asexual people, Inter sexual people,Transgender people, and Gender queer people.
The Royals
Lennon Smith was the first Royal of Compen. The next Queen will be Lola Dykes, his half sister. The successor is the King/queen's first child. If there is no child, it goes to the king/queen's next oldest sibling. If none, it goes to parents. If none, it goes to a cousin. If none, it goes to the oldest niece/nephew. If none, it goes to the oldest step sibling. If none, a new king or queen is voted on.
The Lead Royal, referring to the king/queen, is not born with any political power. However, he can run for office, and then become a politician.
The royal titles are as follows, King: The Lead Royal and the face of the royals when born into power. Queen: The Lead Royal and the face of the royals when born into power. Infe King: The husband of the Queen/King. Infe Queen: The wife of the King/Queen. Princess: The eldest sibling's title if a female. Prince: The eldest sibling's title if a male. Infanta: The lead royal's daughter. Infantee: The lead royal's son. Duke: The Lead royals male sibling. Duchess: The Lead royals female sibling. Noble: An honorary title, given to someone who has performed a great deed, as determined by the Lead Royal.
