The July 2019 Special Election for the 1st District of Seekeria where the first elections in the Duchy of Seekeria that started on 21 July 2019 and will end on 26 July 2019. This special election was called to elect the MP of the 1st District of Seekeria.

History
Date of the Special Election of the Duchy of Seekeria Announced
On 21 July 2019, HG Duke Iyan Seeker I of the Duchy of Seekeria announced when the special election for the House of Commons seat of the Duchy of Seekeria, which is currently vacant, would be starting. The seat is currently vacant because the Duchy of Seekeria was just annexed by the Norfolk Empire at that time, so they have not had enough time to have an election. No one had officially announced candidacy yet, but HG Duke Iyan Seeker I had started to show a strong interest in running for the seat. [1]
Candidate Announced
On 21 July 2019, one citizen of the Duchy of Seekeria announced their candidacy for the House of Commons seat for the 1st District of Seekeria. The new candidate is a member of the Green-Republican Party, a man, and was expected to be the only candidate who will declare their candidacy for the House of Commons seat for the 1st District of Seekeria. The first candidate to officially announce his candidacy for House of Commons seat for the 1st District of Seekeria was HG Duke Iyan Seeker I from the City of Aileen. He announced his candidacy at 08:00 GMT-4 that day. His platform covered environmentalism, equality, and cultural preservation. He said that he didn't want to focus on economic issues too much, but he would if he had to, and wanted to focus on social and environmental issues. He was also running unopposed in this election. First Day of Voting
On 23 July 2019, the 1st day of voting in the 1st District of Seekeria began. This voting session would only last until about 11:59 P.M. GMT-5 24 July 2019. The citizens of the Duchy of Seekeria were voting for their Member of Parliament. The only candidate for that office was HG Duke Iyan Seeker I, who is also a member of the Green-Republican Party. Due to him being unopposed, he would have automatically won the election.[3]
Last Day of Voting
On 24 July 2019, the second and last day of voting in the 1st District of Seekeria began. This voting session only lasted until about 11:59 P.M. GMT-5 24 July 2019, and then the results were officially released. The citizens of the Duchy of Seekeria were voting for their Member of Parliament of the 1st District of Seekeria. The only candidate for that office was HG Duke Iyan Seeker I, who is also a member of the Green-Republican Party. Due to him being unopposed, he almost automatically won the election.[4]
