The Intermicronational Socialist Cooperative (IMSC) is a political international organization composed of parties or nation-states with socialist views. The IMSC serves as an interest group for parties which promote leftist ideologies in parliamentary settings. Other aspects of interest included the nationalization of industry, protection of collective bargaining rights, the promotion of a welfare state, and the preservation of human rights.
History
The IMSC was founded on 17 June 2021 by William Cooper of the then Atieran People's Union (now Galtean People's Union) as an intermicronational political union to help coordinate and assist leftist micronational political organisations across the globe.
Membership
Membership Process
The membership application process for the IMSC follows 3 steps:
Eligibility
Applicants must check whether they are eligible for membership. Eligible organisations are
- Political parties;
- Youth groups;
- Think tanks;
- Workers' unions; and
- Students' unions.
Notification of the Central Committee
Applicants must notify a member of the Central Committee of their intent to file an application.
Application
Applicants must provide information on their organisation, such as
- The name of the organisation;
- The name of the leader of the organisation;
- The logo of the organisation;
- The number of members in the organisation;
- The stated goal of the organisation;
- The type of organisation (see above list); and
- The micronation in which the organisation is based.
