The Hunting and Polluting Party, abbreviated to HPP, is a Mugahanian political party and former member of the Mugahan Farmer-National Coalition that advocates for the rights of individuals and the relaxation of climate policy to allow for industry. The party was founded on 14 October 2021, and immediately took a stance against modern climate science, going as far as to deny current scientific understanding of climate change. The HPP posits that the environment exists purely for human exploitation and should not be protected. It also asserts that the climate policy is inherently tyrannical and an infringement on individual rights, which are of utmost importance to the party. The HPP regularly opposes climate activism and trolls climate summits and conferences where possible. The HPP has been ridiculed as archaic conservatives by the general public, but has also received criticism from elements of the eco-fascist movement for taking an anti-climate stance. Mugahan conservative political party Mugahan Third also opposes the party based on its anti-climate rhetoric, causing tense relations during the brief time they shared a joint ticket in the coalition.
