The Dominion of Herbstland is a dominion of the Empire of Kapreburg that was founded on 11 February 2021. It was originally a dominion from 23 to 29 October 2020, but then declared independence as Vincennes-Terre. It later rejoined Kapreburg on 11 February 2021. It was dissolved again on 14 March 2021 after Lawrence had resigned.
Etymology
Herbstland got its name from the german word for autumn, "herbst".
History
Herbstland was originally founded as the Holy Empire of Braunland by Edward Lawrence. In September 2020, Lawrence met Jackson I. They would later begin discussing Braunland joining Kapreburg, and on 23 October 2020, the Dominion of Herbstland was founded by the Declaration of Dominionship. Lawrence later decided to dissolve the Dominion on the 29th of October.
After Herbstland dissolved, it became a nation known as Vincennes-Terre. In the following months, Jackson I would make jokes with Lawrence about being nostalgic for Herbstland. On 9 February 2021, Edward Lawrence sent a message to Jackson asking "Will you accept my offer of the land of Vincennes-Terre in the form of Herbstland once more?". Jackson accepted the land and via Royal Decree reformed Herbstland on 11 February 2021. Lawrence eventually told Jackson that he could no longer serve as Governor-Genral, Jackson later dissolved the dominion.
