The Galway City Defence Brigade (GCDB) is a provincial defence brigade within the Province of Galway City. The militia is led by the Governor of Galway City as commander. The militia was founded on 16 April 2022.
Marco Hasse serves as current Commander. The GCDB is formed of Land Defence and Naval Defence units [1]
