The Free Fontasia Party, abbreviated to the FFP and occasionally referred to as the Revolutionaries or the First Party, is a right-wing political party in the Kingdom of Fontasia, established on 25 May 2022 and currently lead by Director and Praetor Joseph Montgomery in the Supreme Directorate. The Free Fontasia Party was originally established as the Irredentist Reclamation Front (IRF) but it was changed to Free Fontasia Party on 28 July 2022.
On 25 November 2022 it won a historic Praetorial Election over the Ergatist Party of Fontasia, being the first Fontasian political party other than the EPF to win the Presidium.
Ideology
The Free Fontasia Party combines a mixture of Ultranationalism with Fascism, and to some extent Falangism. Highly supportive of the Conorian ideology, Assemblian exceptionalism and concepts like Greater Fontasia and Vostevanta, the FFP is by far the most radical of any Fontasian political party. It is a party in the Far-Right Directorate Sector.[1]
History
The Free Fontasia Movement, the Free Fontasia Party's namesake was a group of Fontasian rebels and revolutionaries who spearheaded the Fontasian Revolution of 2015 alongside the less radical Dollens. At the Congress of Zippid the Free Fontasia Party became the dominant Assemblian political group, and months later would established the First Assemblic Empire. Fontasian historians thus accredit the Free Fontasia Party as the continuation of the Free Fontasia Movement, therefore making it the oldest political party in the Assemblic Sector.
The original Free Fontasia Movement, then a rebellious underground political group during the time of the United Kingdoms of Sandrania-Fontasia supported complete Fontasian independence and political sovereignty and the reinstallation of Conor I as leader of Fontasia.
The Free Fontasia Party was founded on 25 May 2022 as the Irredentist Reclamation Front (IRF), originally as a Fascist party in Fontasia. T.M. was the first Director of the party, elected on the same date of its establishment. On 28 July, the party was renamed to honor the former Free Fontasia movement that was main political force in Fontasia that drove the Fontasian Revolution of 2015. Director T.M. was re-elected in the 2022 Summer Directorial Election, and during the 2022 Fall Directorial Election, Joseph Montgomery was elected as Director.
Montgomery became an important politician in the Directorate in the week following. He ran for Praetor and ended up victorious over Thomas Jacobs of the Ergatist Party of Fontasia, becoming both the First and Third Fontasian Praetor. Montgomery would be re-elected in the 2023 Winter Directorial Elections
